I'm running the stock oil/water cooler deal. I have a low temp fan switch and thermostat, but that's it. This car is in no way "track prepared".
As far as the manual vs. power steering debate - I suggest keeping the power assist if it's your daily driver. You'll be happy you did. Power racks also have a slightly more responsive rack ratio or whatever you call it. You can get that in a manual rack, but you have to spend $$$ at autotech. Alex.
