I wouldn't do it. There are four different ways people have accomplished
this combination of equipment. All of the alternatives are-- in my opinion--
a compromise to one or more components within the braking system or wheel.

They are:
1. file caliper for clearance
2. machine inside of wheel for clearance
3. use a thinner pad and machine the sliding pins
4. use a wheel spacer with longer bolts

If you absolutely have to do it, I would use a wheel spacer. That way, you
don't have to permanently modify any of the components and you can always
reverse the changes if they are not to your satisfaction.

Subject: [a2-16v-list] 11" Brakes under GLI BBSs

I know 15 is the minimum to get over 11" brakes, but I just want to make
sure there's nothing "unusual" about my rims that would prevent them from
fitting over the new set up.

Thanks,
David
