Actually, I haven't done it yet, but I was told just
using thinner pads (stock 10.1" pads vs. stock G60
pads) would clear everything just fine.  Again, I
haven't done it yet, but I was told from someone who
had 4 lug 11" and GLI BBS that that was all he had to
do to get it clear.  If so, there is no degradation in
braking, other than a slightly quicker pad
replacement.
