I'm going to be replacing my oil pump and pan gasket shortly. I've got a flickering idiot light at idle, so I'm looking to replace the pump before I have to replace the bottom end.
my plan is to do useful upgrades when I have to repair stuff. But from the comments on this list it seems like all that pan stuff isn't the best place to invest. I am intending to auto-x the car and do some track events. My first driving school will be next month. So instead I'll wait until summer and get an oil cooler to deal with the Carolina heat. This list is a great resource. It stops a complete noob like me from learning everything the expensive way. > From: DocWyte <[email protected]> > Date: Tue, 26 Nov 2002 20:06:35 -0800 (PST) > To: "D.
