i might be wrong, but isn't US spec 16v's the CIS-E for 1.8 and CIS-E motronic for 2.0 euro 1.8 16v's i believe had plain CIS euro Corrado's were avaible with a 2.0 16v rated at 136hp running the same CIS-E Motronic that we have MK3 GTI's were avilible with a 2.0 16v in europe, rated at 150 that are full motronic system, i believe the US mk3 8v/vr6 use the same system
