Based on everyone's advice I decided to replace the driver's side Axle. Although the CV boots were intact and not ripped I decided to repace it anyway. I took it for a short 5 minute drive, made lots of right turns and I didn't hear a clunk, thud or thump in my test drive.
So far everything is cool, but I did notice that the wheel bearing on the driver's side did make a slight metal sound when I spun it. If I have to replace the bearing, I'll replace both sides for peace of mind. Things I checked: When I jacked the car up there was no play in the wheel when I pryed or wiggeled it. -Strutt Bearings (G60 bearings replaced 5 years ago) -Tie Rod ends (replaced 2 years ago with TRW) -Ball Joints (replaced 2 years ago with TRW) -Control Arm Disk Shape Busings (replaced 2 years ago with OEM bushing I refuse to replace parts on one side, I want it all to be symetrical. I'll keep you guys updated. Mark Reda.
