I also have a 2001.5 A4 1.8t (with only 20k miles),
but it too has been perfect - knock on wood.  Funny
how someone else mentioned it, but the only thing I
had a problem with was a left rear window regulator
around 15k miles.  Other than that, its been a
pleasure to drive (and you can get exactly what I have
for about $22k now)
