Do you have the bolt off from the passenger side, near the axle? If so, did
you turn the tranny?

I'm changing the clutch in my gti I've taken out all the bolts and axles
are
disconnected and starter is off. The transaxle will not separate???
Are they normally difficult to get apart? Will not separate from the clutch
cover plate??
