Wow, it's been so long since I've received a message from this list
that I thought it was dead. It also don't help that yahoo keeps putting
the messages in the spam folder. anyway, I've got a very slow leak from
the aluminum coolant flange at the front of the engine, mounted to the
lower portion of the intake manifold. The coolant appears where a hose
(which goes down to the water pump) is clamped around it. i've already
tightened that clamp numerous times. i suppose the clamp could be
loosening up. It's very heard to get a mirror in there to see anything.
Also, I've run my finger around the area to see if i feel wetness
anywhere else other than where the hose is. I thought I'd ask for ideas
before i just take it all apart and replace everything.
