I swear I'll never buy another vw again too. But I can't see parting with my 16v quite yet. I bought the car almost 3 years ago and have really run it very hard at the track many, many times, on the street sometimes, etc. Highways going 110+ and it has yet to give me any problems. What really made up my mind about not buying another vw is my 92 corrado slc that consitantly broke down.
