I can safely assume I would have better luck finding a low mileage O2O from an 
A3 than an older 16V. 
To clarify, would it require the 8V pressure plate and the 16V clutch disk? 
Could I still use the same 210mm flywheel or one from an A3? is there a 
difference in the Flywheels?

The A3 2.0L box is an 020 with the bigger input shaft (like a 16V A2) 
and 100mm flanges. The VR6 box is the 02A. If you go to an A3 020 you'd 
need a hybrid clutch set up (8V plate and 16V disc) but not a big deal.
