I can safely assume I would have better luck finding a low mileage O2O from an A3 than an older 16V. To clarify, would it require the 8V pressure plate and the 16V clutch disk? Could I still use the same 210mm flywheel or one from an A3? is there a difference in the Flywheels?

No, you can use either an 8V or 16V pressure plate, but I'd stick with the 16V unit, since they are somewhat stronger than the 8V models. The A2-A3 flywheels aren't interchangeable, at least the part numbers aren't the same. My guess is that they're different because of the hydraulic clutch in the A3 cars. But the 8V and 16V flywheels are the same, just get at lightened one. It makes a very noticeable difference in how quickly the motor builds revs, and frees up a little hp to the wheels.
