At one point I had 2 '88 GTi's, before getting rid of the 2nd one, I stripped it. Now I have 2 of pretty much everything. 2 airboxes/fuel distributors, 2 ecu's, 2 knock sensor cu's. Except only 1 knock sensor and only 1 coolant temp sensor. I tried every combination of what I have and never could get the DPR voltage to move from 10mA. It idled and ran just fine but I don't think it pulled like the original 2.0 It always ran hot even after a new thermostat, radiator and water pump. I ran it as rich as I could (too rich according to my buddy at the inspection/smog check. CO was high)Any suggestions?
