Actually I didn't think it would be so easy to drain it out using just
a tube and a bit of vacuum from my inflate/deflate pump to get it
started.  I just put the tube into the gas fill tube at one end and my
gas can at the other.  That gas just smells terrible. I dumped the gas
(about 5 gal)  into two other cars to dilute the gas as much as
possible.

Once I fill the tank with some fresh gas I'll certainly flush the
lines to make sure only fresh gas reaches the injectors.

I'll be starting the car in a few more days I think.  Are there any
rituals I should follow for the first start?  I put oil in the car
already so I don't forget this sort of important step :)

Of course I am gonna look for some input online as well.
