Don't break the bank on tools - a good metric set from Craftsman (1/2 and 3/8
ratchet sets) and a good set of Allen key sockets (not the "L" shaped keys)
will make you dangerous.  Tool storage can be very expensive, just ask your
local mechanic how much his toolbox cost - be sure to sit down when he tells
the figure.

Again, Sears has decent stuff - not necessarily on the level of Strap-On, Mac,
or Cornhole but for the hobbyist, it's fine AND it has a nice lifetime warranty
<G>.  If you want to invest in a tool box, start with a "top" box as it will
have room for all your hand tools.  A bottom box is nice but the drawers tend
to be huge and are better suited for holding large, less utilized tools such as
air ratchets.

Air compressor?  YES - a smallish 25 gallon compressor will do most all tasks
and it's shouldn't be loud enough for your neighbors to complain.  If they do,
shut the garage door when the compressor "charges".
