You can test the pumps by providing 12v directly with wires and small
aligator clips.  If they make noise they should at least get the car
started.  After my car sat for extended time both pumps were stuck.  I
broke the main pump free by reversing the voltage many times over.

If gas was in the tank for a while it may be worthwhile to replace it
with fresh gas.
