We made it last night around 9pm. Lesson learned: don't try to take the car off after a 20 hour drive. you will be exhausted and will make stupid mistakes. 'ok push, wait who is in the car..' bumper was the only casualty so far. went down the ramp too fast and a strange combination of the driveway angle and the ramp angles and the dark all combined to a ripped off bumper.
other than that all else went well and truck is unloaded and we are beat.. Work on the GTI will not start until the house is in order.
