As I recall, no. However, I had to replace the whole unit once after a moron friend of mine somehow accidentally broke the stalk off. Again, as I recall, it was a fairly simple procedure. So, removing the switch assembly isn't a big deal, but disassembling it in order to service the internals is an unknown quantity. Back when I had my issue, replacements were still available from Mike Potter for not much money. Have no idea what the current situation is.
