Pull the steering wheel off and you are close to getting the job fixed. It's been a while since I've gotten into it but you might have t remove the wiper switch first, just a coupla long screws away. Anyhow, you are looking for some contacts that should rub on a copper strip which is probably all corroded. Take some very fine sandpaper and place it between the contacts and the copper strip and clean it up. A small fine coating of dielectric grease should keep it going for a good long time. They are easy enough to remove and work on on the work bench/kitchen table. On 26 Dec 2015, at 22:20, Chad Rebuck wrote:
My turn signal switch doesn't make good contact sometimes in the upward/right direction. I can move the switch back and forth to get it working, but I should probably have a look to see if it the contacts can be cleaned up. Is there much that can be accessed without taking the turn signal assembly out completely? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MK2-16v" group.
