The GTi's had power recaros too. It seemed to be whatever VW had laying around the factory floor that day. I've seen the GLi's with both manual and power ones, most of the GTi's came with manual ones.
The power ones have larger leg bolsters and a wider head rest. I really want this car as a project but I live several thousand miles away...
