One more artist to look into is called Shadow-Wolf, and she does
great works. Here's 3 of her most recent picture.

Yahoo's mail interface is *NOT* logical.
Needs a more forum 'quote' style. It just randomly sends
things half-finished!
As I meant to say while discussing the
linked artists - that's a decent start.
There's plenty of good, and remarkable,
artists out there in the fandom. Some are limited more or
less to specific species which they do well (canids, sharks,
cats, dragons - ect).
I would have to stand rather firmly on:
NOT toony. I am no fan of it.
Metamor is often a humorous place, often a
serious place, and occasionally a very, very dark place.
But when it comes down to most portrayals - I think the
particular work would be down to the persons/groups who
choose to undertake the effort. Serious, humorous, and most
certainly and firmly no more racy than PG-13 (which in MK
means: Clothing *heh*. I don't think anyone has a
completely skyclad animorphed keeper running around, thus it
shouldn't be expected in illustrations).
Also:
Userpage of
balaa -- Fur Affinity [dot] net - Tho probably pricy.
Novawuff (Heather
(Schumacher) Meuser) on deviantART - For some reason is no
longer on FA.
Userpage
of shinigamigirl -- Fur Affinity [dot] net
And so many others...
Re: [Mkguild] Group picture
Hello MKGuild,
Realism generally (I think) ramps up the price
more. While I personally wouldn't pick Virmir's
style for this (though I like what he does), I
think Ralph's style is an acceptable level of
cartoonishness (I can also ask him about higher
realism). We can discuss the various artists'
style vs. price choices more while we're
deciding who gets represented (and refining some
of their descriptions).

It may just be me,
but I always thought that MK was more
suited for realism/stylized realism in
art. While I like RHJunior for his
comics, I wouldn't personally choose
him. I'm just one person, though.

Was chatting with Lurking Wolf tonight and he

might there be of getting a large picture with a
lot of the major/active characters from mk as a
sort of banner for the archive?"
I love the idea! But the brings up some
questions - Who is in the group picture and what
artist to commission to do it?
Comment? Ideas?
