Hi Dan,

I'd like to write a script to be able to encode the raw .mov files of
my digicam to .mp4. I've exported a render script done by Kdenlive.

The idea is to write a simple script that takes an .mlt file, replaces
its source file attribute with the argument of the script, saves it as
a temporary .mlt file and uses the created file as the input of MLT.

The problem is the length information that is contained within the
.mlt file that Kdenlive exported. If I remove the relevant length
properties from the file then the generated movie becomes very long.
How can I solve this issue?

Thanks in advance!
