Are you doing anything in the script with edits, effects, etc, or is
this just a straight transcode?

Thanks for helping Derrick. Here are a few caveats for all readers:

1) If you are just transcoding without trimming there is no need to
specify in, out, and length properties on the input.

2) In the current releases of mlt, the above defaults to the dv_pal
profile, which is interlaced output, even after changing the size to
1280x720. In the next release (or current git), melt will
automatically builds a profile from the first input.

3) lamemp3 => libmp3lame

4) f=mp4 is redundant with a filename containing .mp4

5) pix_fmt=yuv420p is the default
