I have this Soft 56K Conexant modem which is working ok on windows2000. It's connected to COM3 with IRQ 11. When it comes to Linux ,I can't get Minicom working let alone connect to the internet. Its a PCI Modem on a DTK motherboard. I'm using Zipslack (from Slakware). Anyone knows a good way round? By the way how was the MLUG, I stopped receiving emails? What happened -- no one turned up, I could'nt come, maybe next time I come. This modem problem is really giving me in.
