Instructions to unsubscribe from this list at the end of the message - --------------------------------------------------------------------- I`m not really into samba ... used it only 1`s and didn`t get to see the other box properly but when I load KDE Home (explorer like on ms shit) and typed smb://local.ip it did show me the shared directories on windows. Now the prob is that is was Win98 not winXP.
(just my opinion correct me If I`m wrong) WinXP if running on an NTFS partition, on the linux side you need NTFS support enabled on the Linux Kernel.
