Mario Have been using OpenOffice for the last 2 years at home as a TOTAL replacement for M$ Office with no problems.
Also using it in our offices also for some 2 years at work - mixed environment. My experience shows NO problems creating documents from scratch, but OpenOffice loses some page layout information when converting M$ Word documents, for example... I'd rather you didn't quote our company name... I can tell you so far it is no easy task. I would like to know how many of you use Sun Office or Open Office at your place of Work. Also is it the Standard Office package or is there a mixed environment? What other office packages are used? It would also help me if you could quote the name of your company (however if this could be a problem then you do not need to). Thanks for your feedback!
