Mario nope you are accessing the Win2k directory structure via SMB over the network. you would only need native NTFS support inside linux if you trying to mount a drive locally with NTFS - i.e. attaching a Win2K formatted drive to a linux machine with an IDE / SCSI / SATA cable. your problem must be elsewhere.
