I hear that Merlin is to be selling laptops with Linux pre-installed.
About spectacular apps, the best one I have found so far is Amarok. It never 
ceases to amaze...that and synaptic..

About the female friends, I am pretty much resigned that there is no hope of 
finding any Linux female users....so what can I do?
