Maybe another problem is that there is no hardware reseller on the
island which gives you an option to choose between preinstalled
Windows and Linux. This should be very nice anyway. Especially if they
can provide novice users with a dual boot system.

To Jean:
By the way, I didn't consider the option if you are trying to convince
a female friend. In that case ... I cannot give you a lot of advice,
but I am sure you can find tons of very spectacular applications for
Linux.

I think one of the main disadvantages of the English language is that
99% of the words can be used as both masculine and feminine.
