Hi everyone,

Name here is Charles.
Looking around for a easy to install Linux distro I came upon Dreamlinux.I
downloaded it and after running it I installed it on my hard disk. It seems
to suit my needs as included is a folder called Easy-Install which helps
newbies to install the more common programs. One program which I would like
to install is VLC, as I found it very good to use in Windows. I tried to
install it through the Synaptic Package Manager, but I keep getting a 404-
File not found msg. Looking through the downloading site -
http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/pool/main/v/vlc, I found that the needed
files have been superseeded by others.
Any ideas on what to do?
