Hi Charles, GParted should work great. Do note however that you cannot resize partitions that are currently mounted (i.e. if you want to resize the partition currently allocated to linux). The best thing to do is to download and burn the GParted Live iso, or use the Ubuntu live cd as it has GParted preinstalled.
Just boot of the cd, start GParted, resize the partitions u wish to free up some space, and it is all easy thereafter. Seb
