First one is from a former colleague Kurt von Finck who now works with Monty 
Program AB, a new company that develops and support a fork of MySQL and some 
more... If you have questions about that you can also get Kurt on IRC, he's 
mneptok on Freenode.

Second post is by his boss, Michael "Monty" Widenius, MySQL founder who 
recently quit Sun to start his own company, with flasghipproducts Maria & 
MariaDB.
