Hi folks, I'm bought a linksys/sipura SPA2102 phone adapter, and I have an all linux network (even the firewall is debian) completely clueless about how to set things up... newbie questions:
-- I don't want to replace my firewall, so just want the adaptor on the LAN somewhere... If I just port forward incoming SIP (5060 and 5061) from fw to adapter, will that work (I appreciate I might have to do some QoS work, besides that...)? -- thinking about trying things out just doing local calls within the house... soft phone to analog phone on the adapter. clues on how to start out? good linux soft phone? do I need asterix or can the softphone just initiate a SIP call to the SPA on the LAN?
