Also I think ekiga.net does STUN/NAT traversal, so you don't need to 
fool with your firewall.

The asterisk livecds and distros are good for getting up and running 
fast, plus a place to verify your configs against. I would actually 
appreciate a recommendation for "best" asterisk setup these days, should 
I go back to asterisk-centric distro, or is it easy enough to get 
running on debian stable? What is the current choice for asterisk distro?
