I have recently become very interested in getting a proper ereader. Not too sure about the os support for this device, but I doubt it is a huge issue. Takes microSD too, so im sure you can work something out w/ nix.
Biggest problem with this guy is the supported formats, not enough deets yet, but looks like epub and pdf (granted, the two that matter most, at least, to me) are about it. Price is right though. And it will be available in Canada. That is my current issue, the only readers you can get here so far are sony's crap, overpriced kindles and cheap "daytek"(or some other generic electronics brand) style grbage units. Seeing a whole whack of cooler devices online that Canadians dont have really access to. If anyone has more insight into these, im all ears, this is a hot topic for me. A lot of these have an embedded linux kernel too, so they arent THAT off topic :) On Fri, Apr 9, 2010 at 5:21 PM, <[email protected]> wrote: > REcently INdogo has started advertising (and accepting preorders for) > Kobo, an e-book reader, for $149 plus tax. > > Is anything known about it?
