Hi all

I am looking for a laptop to carry around and make demonstrations using Linux and some specific applications.
I want to install OpenSuSE, Centos, or Kubuntu as the host system.
Then I will install VMware Workstation on the host.
I need 64bits, at least 4 GB RAM (6 or 8 is better), and a reasonable screen. Standard disk space is OK.

I looked at an ASUS K72JR-B1 but it looks that it is not supporting Linux. Same thing with Dell Vostro 3300.

Any suggestions?

Thank you all.

My only recommendation is to stay away from the Dell Latitude E6410. I've been having nothing but trouble with that laptop. The network and video driver have regression bugs where depending on which kernel you have you might lose the Ethernet card, the display or both.

The rest of the Dell Latitude line is fine, but these laptops gave me nothing but trouble.
