Not true. It is one thing to bash Windows-only users who bash Linux just because they have no idea, it is another thing to bash a fellow old time Linux user who does know what he is doing, you have fallen in the latter category. I don't personally know Peter, I don't know you either, but I do know that almost everyone in this thread is acting like a zealot just because one of us dared to criticize Ubuntu. OH NOs! I am NOT an Ubuntu user, I haven't touch Ubuntu except once a very long time ago when they came out, so I have nothing to say about their technical issues, but from what I have been following in the Linux world, the Ubuntu fan boys and girls are worse than the Mac crowd. Instead of engaging Peter in a discussion and trying to figure out if there is something that can be done to help, you all basically called him an idiot who has no idea what software-alpha is, honestly, you make me ashamed. Peter, I apologize on behalf of MLUG, you did not deserve this, and I agree with you, if a piece of software is that bad 30 days before release date, I don't see how it can be made into a production ready system.
