I just made a fresh install, Ubuntu 11;04, on a friend's machine, it WAS running XP pro. It was not connected to the internet but does have a wi-fi card. I made the connection to the network, but nothing happens! It doesn't ask to connect or anything of the sort...
What have I forgotten? André.
