No, that's deceiving. `ifconfig' only lists the configured interfaces,
and it's very common for the wlan0 to not be configured, in which case
it won't show up in `ifconfig'. Try `ifconfig -a' or `iwconfig'.
In any case, the rfkill lists (not sure where that comes from) seems to
indicate that the wireless card's driver is loaded.
