My server is blacklisted by Trend. Everyone whose sysadmin uses Trend to block spam is unable to receive mail form me, and most of them are not savvy enough to even understand whitelisting. Trend's automated responses indicate that they think I have a dynamic IP number, which is false. They don't even bother complaining that I've been accused of sending spam. I suspect every one of my blocked nonspam letters contributes to Trend's statistics showing how well they're serving their customers. Nothing I or my ISP have tried seems to convince Trend of the truth. I just have to write off my corresponents or go to the inconvenience of using public free sites. I'm really wondering whether it's the spammers or the antispammers that are causing more trouble. -- hendrik _______________________________________________ mlug mailing list [email protected] https://listes.koumbit.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mlug-listserv.mlug.ca
