Ah I see, thanks for clarifying. I guess I'll see what it looks like
with Kubuntu once I upgrade. It may be a good time to look at
alternatives as I'm not too fond of having to unload ad/crap/bloatware
either. I use Debian for servers, but I'm not sure I would run Debian
at home, I like to be a little more "bleeding edge".
From looking at the mint web page, they have downloads available for
Cinnamon, KDE and Xfce, but it's not clear to me in what ways it is
different. I guess I'll just download it and run it in a VM first.
