I currently live in Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, but the great thing about my job is I am home-office and travel, so I actually don't need to be living on, or near the island.

There are a fair number of people working on the West Island (the extreme west end of the island Montreal sits on) and living just across the border in Ontario.
