You won't find much on kijiji because basically that is going to be
someone on this mailing list selling their personal system heh.
That being said I have installed ubuntu or debian on pretty much every
system I own, laptop to desktop and they all work. There are always some
glitches, but just like trying to do your own windows install where you
have to chase down stupid drivers all over the place.
