For which file did you get 'access denied'? There must be something in your system that messes up the file permissions so that Mnemosyne can't function. Without having access to your machine, it's difficult to figure out what exactly that is. Perhaps a virus scanner?
The only other advice I can offer is: * check the disk for errors (go to 'my computer', right click on the C: drive, go to tools menu. A reboot will be required) * uninstall Mnemosyne. Remove C:\Program files\Mnemosyne if it still exists. Delete C:\users\clayton\.mnemosyne (backing it up first) * do attrib -r C: attrib -r "C:\Program Files" attrib -r C:\Users attrib -r C:\Users\Clayton * install test 2 If none of this works, I'm running out of ideas...
