I have been using mnemosyne for a few months now. I have been practising on premde deck that consist of about 3000 flashcards. I have memorized all of these and have most of them on categories 4 and 5.
Just a few days ago I installed the plugin that show in the bottom bar the statistics of the card and how different answers affect the next repeat interval. Now that I'm doing my scheduled review I find that in most cards the grade makes really no difference. For example a card has stats g:5 e:2.6 R:3 L:0 LR:5 and then the card will have NR: 0/12/12/13/13 How can this be? Then I made a new deck and imported cards to it with reseted stats. First there were NR: on all cards like 0/1/2/3/5 or something like that. But then when I was studying new cards, I got a card I had forgotten (used the same premade deck on the new one that on my "real" deck) and then I hit 0 like don't know the card. I had the setup to have no more than 20 0 cards on my deck. The next time the same card came that I already graded 0, it had NR: 0/1/1/1/1 Could someone explain to me what I am doing wrong or point me to direction where this would be explained? Because I think the second description somehow explains the problem with my "real" deck. And to me it seems its not really working properly.
