My apologies, I had not edited the ACL of the file after uploading
it.  Here is a link that should work:

So I should uninstall MiKTeX, delete the content of the .mnemosyne/
latex directory, then reinstall MiKTeX and try to preview the card?

Where should I look for the tmp.log files?  And what should I look at
inside it?  (Sorry - I'm not a super-user by any stretch.)

Yep, I ran a search for the tmp.tex file and that is also exactly what
it looks like on my system.
