Hmm, time to chime in here :-)

The best way to implement what the original poster wants would be to write a 
web server around Mnemosyne which does not have the option to edit cards. 
Unfortunately, I don't have time to work on this anytime soon, as my priority 
is getting 2.0 out of the door.

As for the rest of this thread, let's keep in mind that we are all human 
beings, we are all fallible, and that email is one of the worst media to have 
an argument.

So, I suggest we all cut each other some slack, take a few deep breaths, and 
move on :-)
