Partial success! I downloaded this file:
http://www.mnemosyne-proj.org/node/164), saved to my desktop, and opened it
in the mnemosyne software.  It appears to be working.  I still cannot get
the 1st set GRE cards (listed under english).  Im not sure why, I did
everything the same for both files.  For now, I will work on this set of
words, and let you know if I need help downloading another.

Also, you mentioned changing a setting under the File Format drop down
menu....I don't see this option.  Under the file menu I have New, Open,
Save, Save As, Import, Export and Exit.  Do I still need to do this if it is
working?
