I'm slowly getting to the point where 2.0 has enough features to be usable for the average user. The only import at the moment is 1.x mem. If I can add more import options during alpha and beta testing, all the better, but I'm not really sure it's worth holding up the 2.0 release for that. Note that you can always keep 1.x running in parallel just for importing purposes if need be, and you can also choose to skip 2.0 and wait for the next version which does have better import.
