Re: sound file in the pronunciation section of a Vocab card -

I get the error when I preview a card which has been created as
follows:

Foreign word: hervidor
Pronuciation: <audio src="hervidor_1_.mp3">
Meaning: kettle

Error:

If I create the card as follows, there is no problem:
Foreign word: la mosca<audio src="mosca.mp3">
Pronunciation: -blank-
Meaning: fly

Have I missed a trick here? I'd concluded that the pronunciation was
for phonetics or something.

Re: jerky scrolling -
My laptop is a Core 2 Duo (2.0 Ghz), my other m/c is a Quad core
2.66Ghz. Both are running Vista and both display the same effect.
However, the database is sitting on a Ready NAS NV+ (no idea about the
processor except that it's sparc based). It's on a mapped drive over a
fast network so not sure why this might be a problem but maybe you
know otherwise. Usually, I don't notice any difference when
referencing files on the NAS as opposed to my local drives.

The speed of the program is perfectly acceptable when I'm doing my
repetitions so it's no great bother..
Kind regards
B.
